THE MEL AND VINNIE QUARTET

The Mel and Vinnie Quartet is led by Maryellen Healy and Vincent Cerniglia of Pine Bush, N.Y. Longtime sloop sailors involved with many of Pete Seeger’s projects, they’ve been playing Hudson River songs and their own tunes together for 25 years. The quartet includes Bill Wisnowski of Danbury and Susan Lang of Woodbury, members of My Dad’s Truck. Bill also is one of the organizers of the Roots Music Coffeehouse.

GREAT BLUE

Shirl Lawrence and Steve Kaplan have been singing together for more than thirty years. This duo is called Great Blue after the observant heron they often find during their kayak trips. Their eclectic musical sources include songs echoing Clearwater’s environmental message.

	Marc Von Em Saturday Sep 13 Marc Von Em is a soulful singer/songriter who started his solo career in 1999. With three independent releases, Marc has worked his way up through coffee houses and bars to prestigious bills shared with such artists as Lucy Kaplansky, Martin Sexton, Richie Havens, Glenn Tillbrook and others. In 2005, Marc joined Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20) as a vocalist/guitarist, and for a year and a half, toured the globe.
